The Hickman boys soccer team lost 1-0 to host Jefferson City on Tuesday.
The only goal of the game slipped past Kewpies goalie Chuck Wilson with 2:50 left in the second half off the foot of Jays senior Alec Nagel.
Hickman won the Quincy Tournament over the weekend and tried to bring that momentum into its game against Jefferson City, but the Jays consistently wore down Hickman’s defense in the second half.
Hickman (2-1-1) plays Thursday at Raymore Peculiar.
